The Post-Birkie Invite is a cross-country ski race held by the University of Minnesota Nordic Ski Team annually at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. The race is designed as an opportunity for collegiate club ski teams across the Upper Midwest to compete against one another, and is open to any interested club team. Since it began in February of 2015, the Post-Birkie invite has attracted club teams from across the region, and has been funded in part by a grant from Coca-Cola and University of Minnesota Student Unions and Activities. In the past, race events have included long distance races, sprints, and relays.
